Use a pen to draw an outline of the sensor on the selected mounting location.
Prepare the mounting surface by sanding or grinding off the paint within this outline.
Prepare the epoxy. Evenly spread a thin layer of epoxy on the bottom of the sensor base.
Attach the sensor base to the surface. Apply gentle but firm pressure to ensure that the sensor base attaches firmly to the surface.
Use a level to ensure that the sensor base is square to the selected orientation (vertical/horizontal). Ensure that sensor base does not drift from its orientation while the epoxy is curing.
Attach the sensor to the base using the bolts provided. Make sure each bolt has a lock washer (provided) to ensure that the bolts don't loosen under vibration conditions. Firmly tighten the sensor bolts to the base.
