Follow the instruction for surface preparation Inspect the motor sled for suitable mounting locations. Look to mount the sensor higher than lower on the sled preferably in line with the motor bolts.

Locate the sled sensor in such a way that its location won't interfere with regular motor and driveshaft maintenance activities. The sensor may be mounted in the horizontal or vertical orientation.

If the motor doesn't rest upon a sled, attach the sensors near the bottom of the motor's frame within proximity of one of the mounting bolts.
