1. Clamp the vertical mill sensor housing onto the mill bearing.
2. A vertical mill sensor installation kit is provided that has the identical clamp as used in the picture below.

3. Run the attached 20’ long hydraulic hose under the shredder shaft and under the board walk where possible for better cable protection.
4. Where possible, install mill sensors on the downstream side of the shredder bearing. (If the PT100 sensor cable is in the way, mount the sensor on the other side of the bearing).
5. Measure the length of the hydraulic hose from the mill sensor housing to the appropriate Junction Box (JB)

6. Add a foot or two to the measured length to ensure that the cable is sufficiently long when strapped into position using stainless steel tie wraps.
7. Stainless steel tie wraps are provided to secure the cable.
8. Also, route the cable around any potential hazards.
9. All armored fly leads are custom made to the specified length given us.
